On May 22, 23 and 24, the XXXII national conference of the SEAP-IAP 2025 on Medical Pathological Anatomy-IAP was held in the city of San Sebastià (Basque Country), with more than 1000 attendees in its different medical specialties. Members of the Board of Trustees of the Fundarc Stopsarcoma Foundation, Mercè Codina García as director, and its secretary, Ramon Rovira Martínez, were present at the different events organized to give voice to the foundation and provide a vision towards the disease of sarcoma.
A round table was held in room number 10 of the Kursaal Congress Centre with different foundations and associations of sarcoma patients where concerns and proposals to improve the development of research into this disease were presented.
In addition to the Fundarc Stopsarcoma Foundation, the Mari Paz Giménez Casado Foundation, Asarga- Asociación Sarcomas de Galicia and Asociación Iker, among others, participated. We were also in constant contact with sarcoma oncology specialists from Vall d’Hebron VHIO and IDIBELL ICO Bellvitge, who presented us with the latest proposals and advances in research.
