Project report: distribution of information material for the detection of sarcomas in primary care

Development

Quality information cards and leaflets have been produced, intended to be distributed in primary care centers.

The distribution of the material has been carried out both by postal mail and through in-person visits to ensure that it reaches all the professionals involved correctly.

Material used and expenses

  • Printing of leaflets and cards at a specialized printing house: 1.530,97 €
  • Mailing of the material: 534,00 €
  • Travel expenses (gasoline) for hand delivery to different centers: 600,00 €

Expected outcome

With this action, it is expected to:

  • Increase awareness and knowledge about sarcomas in primary care.
  • Promote earlier detection, thus improving the prognosis and care of patients.
  • Strengthen the link between primary care teams and specialist groups.

Conclusions

The implementation of this project has made it possible to provide healthcare personnel with a simple, practical and effective tool for the detection of sarcomas. The investment made has been essential to ensure optimal and quality dissemination.
